I allowed myself only two items on my to-do list today: laundry and bake cookies. It's not as easy as it sounds, folks! Half the day is gone and I haven't even started on the cookies, which is pretty impressive with the sweet tooth that I have! It's also impressive since I'm a natural perfectionist and list-maker. (Even though there are only two things on the list, there are roughly 34 in my head.) Since rainy Mondays are my favorite, I thought it would be a good idea to try to take it easy, enjoy the kids, enjoy the rain, do some reading and writing.
One of the ways I best express my thoughts is through writing and I have so many thoughts in my head that are just dying to be written out. I truly want to attempt to get back to more regular writing. So as long as I don't have to go anywhere with my silly monkeys, this inspiring rainy day seemed like the perfect time to start.
Yet, I'm trying to figure out how to live cons-tant-ly in-ter-rup-ted! Multi-tasking is not one of my talents. Therefore, that's it for today. I tried.
